HUNTSVILLE, AL : 2 taken to hospital after car crashes into Huntsville house in the 2200-block of Oakwood Road on Wednesday, 11th November, 2020

Two people were taken to the hospital Wednesday morning.

Huntsville Police Sgt. Richards said a silver SUV left the road around 8 a.m. in the 2200-block of Oakwood Road and hit a parked car, before sliding into a home owned by a veteran.

The driver of the SUV and a passenger were taken to Huntsville Hospital for further evaluation.

Nobody else was injured, but the house suffered serious structural damage.

The Red Cross has been called to assist the homeowner.
