Stark County, OH : Truck rolls over in crash, driver dies on May 15th 2014

A 22-year-old East Canton man is dead following an early morning crash Thursday in Osnaburg Township.

The Canton Post of the Highway Patrol says Zane Lewton was driving a 2002 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck westbound on Georgetown Road when the vehicle went off the left side of the roadway near Miday Street. The truck hit a culvert, which then caused it to roll over multiple times around 5 a.m.

Authorities say Lewton, who was not wearing a seat belt, was partially ejected from the vehicle.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities say drug use is a suspected factor.

The crash remains under investigation.
