Durkee, OR :Idaho man dead after accident on I-84 in Oregon on Saturday, July 4th 2015

An Idaho man died after a two-vehicle accident on Interstate 84 near Durkee, Oregon, according to Oregon State Police.Personnel arrived on scene around 1:30 a.m. Saturday near mile marker 327.Enrique Jiminez, 64, of Boise, was driving a Hyundai Accent west on I-84, and attempted to pass Taylor Grove, 24, of Phoenix driving a 2010 Ford Ranger pickup, according to OSP.Jiminez swerved into Taylor and both vehicles went off the road. Jiminez was ejected from the vehicle as it rolled. He was declared dead at the scene, according to OSP.Grove did not sustain any injuries. Investigators determined that Jiminez was not wearing a seatbelt and that alcohol may have been a factor in the accident, according to OSP.
