Edmond, OK : Woman dies after car crash on Broadway and Covell on Sunday afternoon, May 15, 2016

A woman has died after a car crash in Edmond, according to officials.

The crash took place late Sunday afternoon on Broadway and Covell.

Officials said the woman was traveling too fast for a curve in the road and hit a power pole.

She was then ejected from the car and died on scene.

Officials have not released the name of the woman at this time.
