Morristown, NJ : Trooper injured in single-vehicle crash on northern New Jersey highway on Monday, Nov 2, 2015
State police say a trooper was injured when her cruiser crashed on a northern New Jersey highway.
It's not clear what caused the single-vehicle accident, which occurred shortly before 11 a.m. Monday on Route 287 in Morristown.
Authorities say the trooper was traveling in a northbound lane near milemarker 36.6 when she lost control of her car for an unknown reason.
The trooper, who is based out of Netcong barracks, was treated at a hospital for injuries are not considered life-threatening. Her name has not been released.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
