Warren, MI : Michigan State Police Trooper suffers minor injuries in chain-reaction crash Tuesday morning on Interstate 696, May 6th 2014

A Michigan State Police trooper is recovering after being involved in a crash Tuesday morning on Interstate 696.

In a statement, the department said the trooper was one of three cars involved in a “chain reaction” crash in the westbound lanes near Groesbeck Highway.

The trooper was taken to the hospital for minor injuries. No one else was hurt.
