TAUNTON, MA : Woman charged in fatal hit-and-run in Taunton on Sunday, November 13th 2016

A 19-year-old woman has been charged in connection with a fatal hit-and-run in Taunton.

The Bristol County District Attorney's Office says police arrested Cecily Kilsby-Munafo on Sunday and charged her with leaving the scene of an accident with death resulting and misleading police.

Authorities say Kilsby-Munafo was driving an SUV that struck a bicyclist at an intersection late Thursday night and then took off. The victim, 36-year-old Michael Alfano, was taken to a hospital, where he later died.

Kilsby-Munafo is scheduled to be arraigned Monday morning in Taunton District Court. Authorities say another person, 26-year-old Ryan O'Day, has been charged with accessory after the fact. He also is set to be arraigned Monday. It's unclear if Kilsby-Munafo and O'Day have attorneys who can comment on the charges.
