NUNICA, MI : Twin Lake man hurt in rollover crash on I-96 on Monday, October, 16th 2017
A 32-year-old Twin Lake man was hospitalized in stable condition following a one-car rollover crash Monday morning on I-96 near 112th Avenue in Crockery Township.
Scott Stamper was driving east on the highway in a 1990 Oldsmobile when he fell asleep at the wheel, said Sgt. Steve Austin of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.
Stamper’s car left the road and struck a guardrail. It then went into the median, rolled and came to rest on its side.
First responders were called at about 6:15 a.m.
Crockery Township firefighters extricated the driver and an ambulance transported him to Hackley Hospital in Muskegon.
