MORGAN COUNTY, AL : Albertville man killed in Morgan Co multi-vehicle wreck on Friday, 9th August 2024

An Albertville man died following a multi-vehicle wreck on Friday evening.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), the incident happened around 5:20 p.m. on Alabama 67 near Entrekin Road.

Authorities said 30-year-old, Juan Santos-Gonzalez, was a passenger in a car when he was killed after the car he was in hit another car head-on. The car Santos-Gonzalez was in was driven by 45-year-old Jesus D. Garcia, 45, of Albertville.

The other car involved was driven by a 17-year-old from Arab. Both vehicles were then hit by a vehicle driven by Charles Shumate, 49, of Joppa.
