ANDERSON, IN : Moped crash closes Madison Avenue on Saturday, November, 4th 2017

A moped accident shut down Madison Avenue between Cross Street and Hartman Road for nearly an hour Saturday evening.

One person was injured in the wreck, which occurred about 7:45 p.m. and involved only the moped. The person’s injuries did not immediately appear to be life-threatening, said Sheriff Scott Mellinger.

The road was closed to treat the patient and investigate the crash.
