Freeland, MD : 22-year-old David Justin Waddell killed when his car overturned in Freeland on Thursday morning, March 12, 2015

One person is dead after a single vehicle crash in Freeland Thursday morning.

The accident happened slightly before 7 a.m. in the 20200 block of Middletown Road, between Keeney Mill and Beckleysville roads. Baltimore County Police are investigating.

Police said the initial investigation into this incident has found that a 1995 Dodge Neon had been traveling southbound on Middletown Road approaching Beckleysville Road. The Neon went off the roadway, struck an embankment and several fixed objects before coming to rest on its roof.

The driver, and only occupant of the Dodge Neon, was declared deadat the scene. He has been identified as David Justin Waddell, 22, of the 1000 block of Fairview Drive in Hanover, Pa.
