A longtime Charlotte weather anchor is recovering in the hospital after he was reportedly injured in a vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon.
According to WCNC, Larry Sprinkle was injured in a crash along Interstate 485 Wednesday evening.
Sprinkle was taken to the hospital, according to the station, and has serious injuries.
He reportedly called his colleagues Thursday morning to say he is “OK.” Sprinkle has been with WCNC since 1985.
