A Guilford County Sheriff's Office patrol car was involved in a fatal crash Saturday involving a pedestrian. Authorities said the crash happened in the 5000 block of Burlington Road just before 3 a.m. Investigators said the pedestrian, who was not immediately identified, died as a result of her injuries. The driver of the patrol car was not injured. The crash is being investigated by the Greensboro Police Department. Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the female victim. She is described as African-American, 5 feet 10 inches tall, around 190 pounds and estimated to be between 45-60 years old. She does not have identifying marks such as scars or tattoos.
