Bozeman, MT : 78-year-old woman has died after her motorhome crashed on Interstate 90 on Tuesday evening August 12th 2014
Authorities say a 78-year-old Red Lodge woman has died after her motorhome crashed on Interstate 90 near Livingston.
Montana Highway Patrol officials say Nancy J. Smith was driving east when the crash happened Tuesday evening.
The Bozeman Daily Chronicle reports the motorhome left the roadway and traveled on the median for a short distance before rolling on its side.
Smith was not wearing a seat belt. She died Tuesday night at a Livingston hospital.
Park County Coroner Al Jenkins says Smith had six dogs with her at the time who survived. Five have been found and volunteers are searching for the sixth, which was last seen running on the interstate median.
The highway patrol says speed and alcohol were not factors in the crash.
