Bardstown, KY : Local man dies after motorcycle crash in Union County on Saturday, July 16, 2016

A local man is dead after a motorcycle crash in Union County.

According to a press release from the Union County Sheriff’s Office, deputies investigated a fatal motorcycle accident at 1:14 a.m. Saturday inside the Sturgis, Kentucky Bike Rally.

According to police, Ronald Scott Greer, 43, of Bardstown, lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into two other, parked motorcycles. Greer was pronounced dead at the Union County Methodist Hospital at 2:27 a.m. Saturday after he succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash. The investigation indicated alcohol was a factor in the crash.
