GLENVILLE, NY : Driver seriously injured in Glenville crash near Route 50 on Tuesday, 11th December 2018

GLENVILLE -- A driver involved in a Tuesday crash in Glenville was taken by helicopter to Albany Medical Center.

The crash happened at about 12:30 p.m. at Freeman's Bridge and Airport roads, near Route 50, when a Jeep Cherokee and a Honda CRV collided head-on.

The driver of the Jeep was taken to Albany Medical Center for treatment, according to officials at the scene. The extent of the driver's injuries was not immediately known.

The driver of the Honda was not injured.

Freeman's Bridge Road was blocked for a time after the crash, as crews worked.
