GLEN RIDGE, N.J : Men killed in fiery crash were fleeing police on Thursday, 29th November 2018

Authorities say a fiery crash that killed two men in northern New Jersey occurred shortly after the driver had fled from a traffic stop.

Essex County prosecutors say Montclair police tried to stop the car driven by Galo Flores on Monday night, but he instead drove away at a high speed. The officers pursued the car with their overhead lights activated, but Flores struck a light pole around 10 p.m. in Glen Ridge.
