OMAHA, NE : Omaha Police investigating pair of injury crashes on Sunday, 30th June 2024

Omaha Police are investigating a pair of injury crashes Sunday morning that sent several people to the hospital.

The first crash happened shortly after 12:30 a.m. at 52nd and Ames Avenue. A Chevy Impala had been T-boned and came to rest on the curb. Another vehicle came to rest atop the median. Three people were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries; two of them were listed as critical.

Around the same time, OPD responded to another crash involving a car versus a motorcycle at 24th and Cuming. The motorcycle was found on its side in the middle of the street, and an SUV was found further up the road. Two people were transported from this scene with serious injuries.
