A 10-year-old boy died when a pickup truck hit him as he pushed a go-kart that had run out of gas along a north Florida road. The Florida Highway Patrol says two other boys were injured in the Saturday evening crash near Crescent City in Putnam County. The Gainesville Sun the boys would push the go-kart off the road when cars approached. But they didn't move quickly enough as Michael Rieble approached. He told troopers he didn't see the boys. He immediately stopped to check on the boys and has been cooperating with authorities. Emanuel Acosta was taken to the hospital where he later died. Troopers say 7-year-old Ulises Aocsta and 11-year-old Robert Wilson were in critical condition on Sunday. Their injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
