DORCHESTER COUNTY, SC : One killed in early-morning crash on I-26 on Tuesday, November 29th 2016

One motorist died in a single-vehicle accident Tuesday morning along I-26 in Dorchester County, troopers say.
The crash happened at approximately 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol Cpl. Sonny Collins.
A Mercedes was traveling west near mile marker 170 when its driver apparently lost control of the vehicle, went off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree, Collins said.
The driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was wearing a seat belt, Collins said.
The victim's identity has not yet been released.
