Wood ford ,VT : 41 year-old Kathy and Dennis Haughney Jr. killed after Single motorcycle Crash in Bennington County on Sunday afternoon ,may 24th 2015

A Troy, New York couple are dead following a single motorcycle crash in Bennington County.

It happened around 4:30 Sunday afternoon on Route 9 in Woodford. Police say 41 year-old Dennis Haughney Jr., and 41 year-old Kathy Haughney, were headed west when they lost control and crashed into a guardrail. Police say the husband and wife suffered fatal injuries. Details of the crash remain under investigation.

The road was closed for several hours while the scene was cleared.
