Hogan was on his way to work at the Delaware Memorial Bridge at the time of the crash.

"Kevin was very well liked by his co-workers," said Scott Green, executive director of the Delaware River and Bay Authority which operates the bridge. "The DRBA is a relatively small agency and almost everybody knows everybody else. His loss has been deeply felt by all. He will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Hogan family."

Hogan had been employed by the DRBA for more than 20 years in maintenance and was recently recognized for his length of service by the authority.

The accident was first reported at 5:24 a.m. on East Avenue (U.S. Route 40) directly in front of Woodstown High School.
