Leitchfield, KY : Clarkson man killed in crash on Sunday, March 19th 2017
At approximately 3:55 a.m. on Sunday, Grayson County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) Deputy Jeff Kelsey responded to the 6100 block of Millerstown Road in Clarkson on a report of a single-vehicle crash.
Kelsey’s investigation into the accident revealed that, leading up to the crash, a 2000 Ford F-150, driven by 33-year-old Terry Walker, of Clarkson, had been travelling eastbound on Millerstown Road (KY 224), according to a news release from Grayson County Sheriff Norman Chaffins.
Then, for unknown reasons, the Ford crossed over into the westbound lane, left the roadway, and struck a concrete culvert, which caused the vehicle to overturn, Chaffins said.
Walker was not wearing a seatbelt and was partially ejected from the vehicle, the release states.
The Ford came to a final rest on its driver’s side with Walker partially pinned beneath the truck, according to Chaffins.
Walker was pronounced dead at the scene by the Grayson County Coroner’s Office.
Kelsey was assisted at the scene by Grayson County EMS and the Clarkson Volunteer Fire Department.
