Linn County, IA :Kan. woman, teen hospitalized after truck’s tire blows on Saturday, July 4th 2015

Two people were injured in an accident just before 8 p.m. on Saturday in Linn County.The Kansas Highway Patrol reported 1997 Ford F150 driven by Susan Renee Brown, 51, Pleasanton, was northbound on U.S. 69 two miles south of the Kansas 52 Junction.The truck’s right rear tire blew and the driver lost control of vehicle.The truck entered the center median and rolled.Brown and a passenger Jacob Brown, 14, Pleasanton, were transported to Mercy Hospital in Fort Scott.They were properly restrained at the time of the accident according to the KHP.
