Lincoln,OR : Man dies after crash on Hwy 101 near Lincoln City on August, Saturday 26th 2017

A Washington man died in the hospital several days after his car was rear-ended on Highway 101 just north of Lincoln City.
According to Oregon State Police, Dalton Olson, 23, of Ferndale, was waiting to turn left onto NE Devils Lake Road when a southbound Nissan veered over and hit his car from behind.
Olson and his passenger, 22-year-old Danielle Steele, of Blaine, Wash. were both critically injured in the crash.
Olson died of his injuries on Saturday, officials said.
Troopers haven’t found out what caused the other driver, Douglas Quick, 78, of Ventura, Calif., to crash into Olson’s car.
Quick and his wife, 77-year-old Sandra Quick, were also taken to the hospital.
