SCAPPOOSE, OR : 1 dead, 2 critically hurt in crash on Hwy 30 near Scappoose on Tuesday, 8th October 2024

One person is dead and two others were hurt in a crash on Highway 30 early Tuesday morning.

The three-vehicle crash happened just before 5 a.m. on Highway 30 at Slavens Road. Scappoose Fire District says one person died at the scene.

Two other people were taken to an area hospital with critical injuries.

Oregon State Police is leading the crash investigation.
