Topeka,KS : One person injured in two-vehicle crash at S.E. 21st and Adams on February, Monday 5th 2018
A woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday at S.E. 21st and Adams.
The woman’s injuries were initially thought to be life-threatening, but when she got to the hospital her condition was quickly upgraded and not considered life-threatening, Topeka police Cpl. Jake Cobbler said on the scene.
The crash was reported at 8:14 p.m.
The woman was driving east on 21st in a maroon passenger car while a silver truck was headed north on Adams. The two vehicles collided in the intersection.
Cobbler said multiple witnesses were being interviewed to determine exactly what occurred.
There were two or three occupants in the passenger car, including a juvenile, that weren’t injured.
The driver in the truck wasn’t injured.
Northbound traffic on Adams was blocked and westbound traffic on 21st, east of the intersection, was blocked, while police responded.
