Miami, FL : Douglas J. Walsh, 29, killed and Michael R. Stuart, 30 injured in crash on SW 122nd Street on Friday morning, June 19, 2015

A Hawthorne man was killed and an Archer man critically injured Friday morning when their car overturned on Southwest 122nd Street, the Florida Highway Patrol reported.

Douglas J. Walsh, 29, was killed and Michael R. Stuart, 30, was taken to UF Health Shands Hospital in critical condition. One of the two was driving, but FHP has not determined who it was.

The accident occurred sometime between midnight and 6 a.m. in the 4000 block of 122nd Street, also known as Parker Road.

The 1999 Mazda four-door was southbound when it went off the road, hit a fence and overturned.

Walsh, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the car and died at the scene, FHP reported. Stuart was found outside the car.
