Dodge County, WI : Motorcyclist dead following a crash on Hwy 73 in the Township of Westford on Saturday, Sep 12, 2015

A man operating a motorcycle in Dodge County has died after he was thrown from his bike when he hit a deer on Highway 73 just south of County Highway CD on Saturday, September 12th.

Authorities say initial investigation indicates the man was traveling southbound on Highway 73 when a deer ran into his path and collided. The driver was ejected from the motorcycle.

The man suffered serious injuries and was transported to Beaver Dam Community Hospital where he died. His name is being withheld pending family notification.
