A Jonesboro woman died, and four other people were injured, in a crash last Sunday night.

At 11:20 p.m. officers responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Harrisburg Road and Lakewood Drive.

According to the preliminary crash report, a 2009 Pontiac G6 was northbound on Harrisburg Road when it collided with a southbound 2015 Jeep Cherokee.

Kenya Smith, 26, of Jonesboro was killed in the crash.

Three others, including a 6-year-old child, in the Smith vehicle were injured. The driver of the second car, 30-year-old Nancy Arnold of Jonesboro, was also injured. They were all taken to local hospitals for treatment.

According to the crash report, it was raining at the time of the incident and the road conditions were wet.
