FORESTDALE, AL : Oakman man killed in Forestdale crash on Saturday, 23rd December 2023

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) is conducting an investigation after a Oakman man was killed in a crash Saturday evening.According to ALEA, Joey Johnson, 47, was injured when the Silverado he was driving left the roadway, struck a sign post and then an embankment around 5:44 p.m. The crash occurred on Interstate 22 near the 90 mile-marker. Johnson was not using a seat-belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
