Chippewa Falls,WI : Three injured in Wheaton crash on June, Wednesday 28th 2017

Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 29 and 40th St. in the town of Wheaton at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
Injured were Merle Harberts, 79, of Chippewa Falls, Kurt Jones, 45 of Chippewa Falls and Jessi Jones, 39. Harberts was driving a 2015 Buick Enclave, while Kurt Jones was driving a 2000 Chevrolet 1500.
According to the Lt. Mitch Gibson of the Chippewa County Sheriff's Office:
Harberts was eastbound on Highway 29, west of 40th St. Kurt Jones was driving southbound on 40th St. attempting to cross Highway 29. The Jones vehicle failed to yield to Harberts and was hit broadside in the eastbound lane.
