A motorcyclist was flown to a trauma center after a Wednesday evening crash at Rogers Highway and Sutton Road.
According to Deputy Jeff Anderson of the Lenawee County Sherriff’s Department, a northbound SUV was attempting to make a left turn onto Sutton Road when it collided with the southbound motorcyclist.
The injured motorcyclist, who was conscious and talking, but disoriented, was taken by ambulance to Promedica Herrick Hospital in Tecumseh, where Toledo-based Mercy Health Life Flight transferred the rider to a trauma center.
The Raisin Township Police Department still is investigating the cause of the crash, which first was reported at 6:53 p.m.
