Winona, MN : Two people were injured when their vehicle rolled on Interstate 90 on Thursday, December, 28th 2017
Two people were injured when their vehicle rolled on Interstate 90 in the Fremont Township of Winona County at 12:40 p.m. Thursday.
Anna Marie Simmons, 59, of Winona, was driving east on Interstate 90 near mile marker 244 Thursday afternoon with her passenger Reid William Simmons, 70, of Winona, when the vehicle lost control, went across the median, entered a north ditch and rolled.
Both the driver and the passenger were taken to Winona Health with non-life threatening injuries.
The road conditions at the time of the accident were icy and snowy, but the both the driver and passenger were wearing their seat belts.
The Lewiston Fire Department, Police Department and ambulance services and the Winona Police Department assisted on the scene of the accident.
