Wreck closes Western Ky. Parkway eastbound
A wreck involving a semi-truck has shut down the eastbound lanes of Western Kentucky Parkway a few miles west of Elizabethtown.Kentucky Transportation Cabinet officials advise eastbound travelers to exit at White Mills and use U.S. 62 to continue to Elizabethtown Officials say the crash location is around mile marker 130. The wreck happened when the rig crashed into a bridge Officials said the lanes reopened Tuesday evening, and the bridge is structurally sound, although railings on top of the side walls will need to be repaired this week. Temporary cones and barrels have been placed on the bridge in that area.
