Lincoln, NE : 21-year-old woman was killed in motorcycle crash after 11 p.m. Saturday July 19th 2014.

Lincoln police are investigating a crash that killed a 21-year-old woman when the motorcycle she was riding on struck an SUV.The accident happened shortly after 11 p.m. Saturday in the intersection of O and Cotner streets in Lincoln.

Lincoln Police Capt. Michon Morrow says the driver of the motorcycle, 21-year-old Tyler Wilson, ran a red light before his motorcycle hit the Jeep Liberty as that vehicle turned left onto O Street.Wilson was taken to a Lincoln hospital for treatment. His female passenger, Jessie McCain of Lincoln, died at the scene of the crash.
