SALINE COUNTY, KS : Salina man seriously injured in single-car crash on Sunday, 21st April 2024

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, at 1:13 a.m. on Sunday, a 24-year-old Salina man was driving east on Old U.S. Highway 40, just west of Broadway, when he lost control of his vehicle while navigating a curve.

His car entered the ditch to the south and hit a railroad embankment, causing it to vault, overturn, roll, and come to a stop on its wheels facing north.

KHP says emergency services took the driver, who was wearing a seatbelt, to a Salina hospital with suspected serious injuries.
