Kittery,ME : Tractor trailer crash halts traffic on I-95 in Kittery on December, Friday 22nd 2017

A predawn crash involving a tractor trailer and spun-out car slowed traffic to a crawl on the north and southbound lanes of Interstate 95 in Kittery just before Exit 3.

The tractor trailer was traveling southbound on I-95 shortly after 6 a.m. when it swerved to avoid the car and crashed through the median and into the northbound lanes.

Maine State Police report the car appeared to be traveling too fast for the winter conditions and skidded in the southbound lane in front of the tractor trailer. The tractor trailer collided with the car but no one was injured in the accident, according to state police.
