Orange County, FL : Man killed in crash on East Colonial Drive on Monday night, April 25, 2016

An Orlando man was killed after a crash involving a big rig hauling a full load of sod Monday night.

The crash happened on East Colonial Drive at Sherman Street around 10:10 p.m.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers said the truck driver was backing up in order to make a U-turn. The man who was killed couldn't stop in time, and his car ended up under the truck, FHP said.

The victim's name has not been released.
