Reading, PA : Lancaster man hurt in accident on Route 662 on Friday, 28th October 2016

The quick action of two Fleetwood Fire Co. volunteers and a passer-by helped save the life of a driver involved in a Friday morning fiery head-on collision on Route 662 in Ruscombmanor Township, according to a fire official.

Jeffrey Dixon, 30, of Lancaster, was ejected from the car driven by James Pugh Jr., 27, also of Lancaster, when it collided with a pickup truck driven by Ryan Tyson, 23, of Fleetwood, state police said. The car caught on fire in the southbound lane of Route 662 near the intersection of Houck Road about 6:15 a.m.
Investigators said the car was traveling north on Route 662 when it crossed into the southbound lane, striking Tyson's vehicle.
