Motorcyclist dies in accident after tire blows in Wenona Illinois

A motorcyclist died Friday after being thrown from the bike after it blew a tire on Interstate 39.Illinois State Police did not identify the driver, who was traveling south on the interstate about 3:30 p.m. when the accident occurred.The driver, on a 1984 Honda Goldwing, was near Wenona when the rear tire blew. The bike overturned as it traveled off the roadway, ejecting the driver, who was not wearing a helmet, according to the release from State Police.
