A city man was airlifted to Maine Medical Center Wednesday morning with serious injuries he incurred after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car Wednesday morning on Milton Road.
Police say Bradley Locke, 51, was traveling south on Milton Road on a 2002 Harley-Davidson motorcycle and Priscilla Hill, 82, also of Rochester was traveling north.
A release issued by police said Hill turned left into the Rochester Residence Inn when she struck Locke's motorcycle.
Police responded to the scene at 11:11 a.m.
Locke was transported by Frisbie Paramedics to Skyhaven Airport, where he was then flown to Maine Medical Center by DHART. According to the news release Locke suffered serious injuries, but they were not life threatening.
Hill was issued a summons at the scene for failure to yield the right of way, police say.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
The Rochester Accident Reconstruction Unit responded and is assisting the Police Department in the investigation.
Milton Road remained open during the investigation.
