AYDLETT, NC : 1 person dies, two hurt in crash on Route 158 near Aydlett on Friday, 8th February 2019

One person died and two people were taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash Friday night on Route 158.

Currituck Fire Chief Chip Melton says the crash happened around 5 p.m. in the 5000 block of Route 158 in front of Grave Digger's Dungeon, and Currituck EMS had to free the victims after they were trapped.

The victims' names have not been released at this time.
