Eau Claire,WI : U.S. 12 crash leaves 2 dead on October, Sunday 29th 2017

Two people are dead following a one-vehicle crash early Sunday morning in the Jackson County town of Manchester.

According to a news release from the Jackson County sheriff’s office:

Jackson County deputy shoots, kills man, 27
A one-vehicle crash was reported just after 1 a.m. on U.S. 12 in the town of Manchester.

Based on preliminary investigation, the vehicle had been traveling west when it left the road and crashed. Alcohol and speed may have been a factor. Both of the two occupants were pronounced dead at the scene.

The identities of the occupants are being held pending family notification.

The case remains under investigation.
