Keene,NH : Woman hit, killed by car in Keene on December, Sunday 24th 2017

A woman was killed when she was hit by a car Sunday morning in Keene.

Just before midnight Sunday, officers were called to an area near Washington and Woodbury streets.

Police said a car driven by a 28-year-old Keene man struck Noreen Whippie, 58, of Keene.

She died later at the hospital, police said.

Investigators said it does not appear that speed or alcohol use were factors in the crash.
