Forest Hills, NY : Motorcyclist dead after hitting SUV on Grand Central Parkway on Tuesday night, August 9, 2016

A man died after crashing his motorcycle into the back of a car on Grand Central Parkway Tuesday night.

28-year-old Lanze Mason was driving his motorcycle erratically and weaving in between cars when he hit the back of a Toyota SUV just east of exit 11, police said.

When police arrived, they found Mason lying on the road unconscious and unresponsive. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Two passengers in the SUV were both taken to the hospital with neck and back injuries.

An investigation is ongoing.
