Cleveland, TN : A Bradley County woman was killed in a traffic accident on Monday, June 26, 2017

A Bradley County woman was killed in a traffic accident just outside Cincinnati late Monday morning.
According to information released by the Dearborn County, Ind., Sheriff’s Office, the fatality was identified as Maranda Kinsey Wright, 19, of 326 Ladd Springs Road S.E. The accident occurred around 11:30 a.m. on Interstate 275, southbound, near the 16-mile marker.
Reports from the sheriff’s office said that when deputies arrived at the scene of the accident, they observed where Wright’s Chevrolet Silverado was involved in a collision with a tractor-trailer driven by Timothy D. Taylor of Science Hill, Ky.
Wright’s vehicle was fully engulfed in flames when the deputies arrived. According to the sheriff’s office report, Wright had been removed from the vehicle prior to it catching fire.
Reports stated that Wright collided with the rear of the tractor-trailer that had been moving slowly due to congested traffic from road construction in that area. Taylor did not sustain any injuries from the accident.
Wright was eventually transported by the University of Cincinnati Air Care to the university’s medical center, where she was pronounced dead Monday afternoon. Dearborn County deputies T.J. Pendergrass and Kenny McAllister investigated the accident, with Pendergrass’ report being issued at 5:18 p.m.
The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Greendale, Ind., Police Department, the Greendale Fire Department, the Lawrenceburg, Ind., Emergency Medical Service, and the air transport by the University of Cincinnati.
According to reports from EagleCountryOnline.com, the interstate was closed for more than an hour after the accident.
Details of the funeral service for Wright were incomplete early Tuesday.
