Lemon Grove, CA : Female Pedestrian Dies in Lemon Grove Crash near Sweetwater Road and Broadway on Monday, November 10, 2014

The San Diego County Sheriff's Department is investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a car in Lemon Grove. The incident occurred just after 8 p.m. Monday near Sweetwater Road and Broadway. Deputies say a husband and wife were walking southbound on Sweetwater Road when the woman, who is in her 60s, ran across the lanes of traffic and was struck by a man driving an SUV northbound on Sweetwater.
