Lake Wales, FL: 1 person airlifted after crash on Highway 60 in Lake Wales on Tuesday, 9th October 2018

One person was airlifted to the hospital after a crash on Highway 60 in Lake Wales early Tuesday morning.
It happened when a pickup and a semi collided on the eastbound side of the highway near Story Road at about 5:07 a.m., according to Polk County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Brian Bruchey.
