PROCTOR, VT : Driver in crash suspended on Wednesday, August 23, 2017
Police said a Florence woman was driving without a license when she was hit by another motorist Wednesday on Main Street.
Vermont State Police said Linda Gallipo, 66, of Rutland, was driving north in her 2012 Honda CRV at around 8:30 a.m. when she failed to yield while making a left turn.
Kim Miller, 59, of Florence, was coming the other way in a 2004 Nissan Xterra, according to police, and was unable to avoid Gallipo.
Police said both vehicles sustained severe contact damage to the front end, with additional damage to the passenger side of the Nissan.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts, police said, and neither was hurt.
Miller’s driving license was found to be under suspension, police said.
